Group Retreats

St. Mary’s Abbey Retreat Center has much to offer groups wishing to spend time away from their everyday lives on retreat.  We welcome all types of groups to experience our particular brand of Benedictine hospitality.

Our Retreat Center has the capacity to accommodate up to 59 people for group retreats.  We have a conference room large enough for about 60 people (with chairs set theater style).  We have a DVD player and an LCD projector and screen for projected presentations. 

Our lobby is an inviting place to gather informally between scheduled meetings and, during the warmer months, we have two furnished outdoor patios for informal gatherings.  There are also rooms set aside for reading or for small group break-out sessions.

Aside from the tranquility and spirituality to be found at St. Mary’s Abbey, groups can also expect Benedictine hospitality at meal time.  We have never been told that anyone ever went away hungry from a retreat at St. Mary’s Abbey!  Our kitchen staff prepares fresh food for each meal and there is sufficient variety to please every palate.  We will also gladly accommodate almost any special dietary needs your group may have.

At St. Mary’s Abbey, we strive to keep our prices affordable and our retreat center accessible to as many people and groups as possible.  The per-person cost is based on many factors such as the number of people in the group, the number of nights the group will be with us and the number of meals we will serve.
