Diaconate Ordinations

On the afternoon of May 16, 2016 with family and friends, monks and visiting clergy, Brs. Joseph Voltaggio and Demetrius Thomas were ordained deacons by the Most Rev. Arthur J. Serratelli, bishop of Paterson, upon presentation for ordination by Abbot Richard Cronin.

Brs. Joseph and Demetrius will be ministering at local parishes on Sundays. As deacons, Br. Joseph will be working in pastoral care at Morristown Medical Center. Br. Demetrius will work in the summer camp here at Delbarton. They will resume studies in the fall at Seton Hall University in anticipation of their proestly ordination next summer.
